{"id":571,"date":"2019-06-21T15:34:18","date_gmt":"2019-06-21T15:34:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.whvstore.com\/?p=571"},"modified":"2019-06-21T15:45:48","modified_gmt":"2019-06-21T15:45:48","slug":"breaking-news-malaysian-to-australia-work-and-holiday-visa-will-open-2019-07-01","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.whvstore.com\/2019\/06\/21\/breaking-news-malaysian-to-australia-work-and-holiday-visa-will-open-2019-07-01\/","title":{"rendered":"[Breaking News] Malaysian to Australia Work and Holiday visa will open 2019.07.01"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Acorrding to Australia Embassy in Malaysia website:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/malaysia.embassy.gov.au\/klpr\/Visas_and_Migration.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Source<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The next round quota for Australia work and holiday visa will open on <strong>2019.07.01,<\/strong> and the first round will release around 250 quotas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>And also, they have raised the applicants limited from 100 to 1100.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-572\" src=\"https:\/\/www.whvstore.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Screen-Shot-2019-06-21-at-11.00.01-pm.png\" alt=\"Screen Shot 2019-06-21 at 11.00.01 pm\" width=\"898\" height=\"194\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.whvstore.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Screen-Shot-2019-06-21-at-11.00.01-pm.png 898w, https:\/\/www.whvstore.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Screen-Shot-2019-06-21-at-11.00.01-pm-300x65.png 300w, https:\/\/www.whvstore.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Screen-Shot-2019-06-21-at-11.00.01-pm-768x166.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 898px) 100vw, 898px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Australia Work and Holiday Visa(Subclass 462) will allow visa holders to stay in Australia for a year, and if you meet specific requirements: work for specific jobs in regional places for 88 days, then you can apply for a second year work and holiday visa.<\/p>\n<p>And from 2019.07.01, if you meet the requirement (work for specific jobs in regional places for 88 days) during the second year work and holiday visa stay, you can also apply for an third year work and holiday visa.<\/p>\n<p><strong>So in general, this visa will allow you to stay in Australia for up to 3 years.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>While New Zealand working holiday visa only allow malaysian to stay in New Zealand for 6 months, maximum 9 months.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, from 2019.07.01, Australia has raised their base pay rate to $19AUD\/Hour.<\/p>\n<p>So in general, Australia Work and Holiday visa is much better than New Zealand Working Holiday visa.<\/p>\n<h2>Requirement<\/h2>\n<p>However, the requirement for Australia Work and Holiday Visa is also a bit higher than New Zealand one.<\/p>\n<p>So the base requirement is that:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hold Malaysian Passport<\/li>\n<li>between 18-31 years old<\/li>\n<li>hold a degree, or have successfully completed at least two (2) years of undergraduate university study.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These 3 conditions are must. Especially the second one.<\/p>\n<p>Then you will still need an Functional English Test Result, like PTE, TOEFL, IELTS. \u00a0If taught in English, you may be able to waive this requirement, you can contact us for further confirmation.<\/p>\n<p>Also, you will need a \u00a0Malaysian Certificate of Good Conduct, which has been issued no more than 12 months ago.
